Chloe Bailey Talks Sex Appeal, Acting, and Finding Peace in the Making of Her Sophomore Album

Today, iONE Digital’s HelloBeautiful.com released its sizzling, hot HelloBeautiful August cover featuring GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer-songwriter and NAACP Image Award-winning actress, Chlöe Bailey. In her cover feature interview, Chlöe reveals how she embraces her confidence and quirks, addresses misconceptions about her sexiness, and shares how she’s ready to shine in Peacock’s Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist. Read the cover story to learn how she is balancing acting and preparing for the Friday, August 9 release of her sophomore album, Trouble In Paradise

Chlöe portrays a character of profound strength and vulnerability named Lena Mosley in the upcoming Peacock crime-drama miniseries, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, coming in September. The film is executive produced by Will Packer and Kevin Hart and stars Hollywood heavyweights Samuel L. Jackson, Terrance Howard, Don Cheadle, and Taraji P. Henson. On working alongside acting legends, Chlöe shared,

“I was nervous because that's Taraji and we've seen each other in passing, but we've never worked together. So knowing that I got to have that opportunity, I was like, I hope I can step up to the plate and hold my own. And she made me feel comfortable and warm and loved, and I have to truly say the same about Samuel L. Jackson.”

Chlöe told HelloBeautiful that she drew inspiration for Lena from iconic Blaxploitation characters like Foxy Brown and Beyoncé’s Foxxy Cleopatra. The actress also discussed the duality of being grown and sexy while still having a love for “science, technology and engineering.” She wants to remind everyone that women are multifaceted.

On the topic of music, Chlöe burst with pride when she talked about the work she put into her upcoming sophomore album, Trouble in Paradise. Bailey told HelloBeautiful the project was recorded and mastered in St. Lucia where she found solace, acceptance, and creativity.

“I can walk around with no makeup, I can walk around loving my body, I can go to the ocean, truly just pray to God and thank him for the blessings that I have. And it reminds me that life isn't all about what my career is. It's not about outer validation, but the inner peace,” said Chlöe.

Nene Leakes, Shares her Highs, Lows and Lessons Learned for HelloBeautiful

HelloBeautiful.com, a digital content property owned by iONE Digital has released its first digital cover of the new year featuring reality TV star and actress Nene Leakes. In this HelloBeautiful cover feature, Leakes discussed her time being one of the original cast members of the iconic Real Housewives of Atlanta. She shared details about the role she played on the show and how the fans perceive her after her time on Real Housewives of Atlanta.

“I know all the things that I did [on Housewives]. And I know all of the memes that are out there. I know when real housewives started, I was the OG. I was the one that was there pushing and making every scene, as much as I could, a great scene.” said Leakes “ I know the work that was put in behind the scenes that the people who are viewing the show, just don't know. I can't call myself a queen [of the housewives and reality tv] but I see why people call me that and I received it.”

While speaking about her time on Real Housewives of Atlanta, the actress also spoke about finding happiness after the death of her husband of over 20 years, Greg Leakes. Greg passed in 2021 after a long battle with colon cancer.

"I am happy. I am certainly not sad, certainly not depressed. I'm happy. I always feel like you can be happier. There's a few other things that I want in my life. I want deep love with someone and hopefully we bring each other more happiness"

Nene also provided her perspective about the beauty standards in Hollywood and the pressure to keep up with trends that are constantly changing.

“Being in the industry and being a public figure, it’s definitely pressure there to look beautiful, look your best, stay small, look healthy, all of those things and keep up with the latest trends. There's definitely pressure there to do that. I felt that pressure myself.”

Tia Mowry Puts Her Truth On The Table After Divorce and Discusses New Hair Care Brand in HelloBeautiful’s Latest Cover Story

HelloBeautiful.com, a digital content property owned by iONE digital has released its June cover featuring mother and actress Tia Mowry. In this HelloBeautiful cover feature, Mowry stands in her truth and opens up about her divorce and how this life-changing decision has impacted her and her family. The multihyphenate actress sat down with award-winning Journalist Cori Murray and shared details about her new perspective on life, her style, and how this journey has influenced her to continuously find what makes her happy.

“I always say that I am chasing the joy. I’m chasing my authentic self, my potential,” said Mowry. “That’s where the magic happens: when you are living your truth. That doesn't mean that your truth is always going to be rainbows and Skittles. Joy and happiness is like a rollercoaster. What made me happy 10 years ago is different than what's making me happy now.”

With an ever-blossoming career, Mowry has also embarked on a new business venture. Her new natural hair care line, 4U by Tia offers natural hair care that’s science-backed, nature-made, and totally clean for your curls, health, and the environment. The brand launched earlier this year. This mompreneur is blazing a path for her reinvention and has her eyes set on the future.

"People often ask me, 'Where do you see yourself in 10 year or 15 years?' and I see myself living in Portofino, Italy, having a nice glass of wine and eating some pasta. And just enjoying my life."

Taraji P. Henson Stuns on Latest Digital Cover of HelloBeautiful - The Mother's Day Issue

HelloBeautiful, a digital content property owned by iONE digital has released its latest cover featuring the unparalleled Taraji P. Henson. In this HelloBeautiful digital cover feature, Henson opens about her personal journey in motherhood and how being a mom has translated throughout her career. The Golden Globe winning Actress sat with HelloBeautiful to share details about being a single mom to a 28- year-old son all while navigating her career. Henson states “No one can prepare you for that. I don't care who talks to you, no one can prepare you, you just got to jump in and get your feet and your hands dirty. You learn as you go because there is no book that can teach you. There is no book that can prepare you, really, because everybody's story and circumstances are different.”

While giving us a front row seat to her life as a mother, she also provided an inside look on starring beside Quinta Brunson in the popular sitcom, Abbot Elementary, and how being a mom has finally come full circle in her acting career. Henson states “At first it was like, ah, mom? Why can't I be her sister?,” Henson says. “Then I looked at her age and I said, Bitch, because you old enough to be her mother. Like, stop playing,” she says with a laugh. “I'm not going to fight age. I'm going to age gracefully.”

With a career that keeps her moving and a successful hair care line, the Academy Award Winning actress makes sure that she is prioritizing her health and setting a stellar example for Black Women everywhere. Henson states” I think we are under the misconception that just because someone is small that means they're healthy,” she says. “Or just because someone is on the heavier side, that they're not healthy, and that couldn't be furthest from the truth. I was small, I was within my weight from my height and my age, and I was unhealthy.” Untangling fact from fiction is essential to the future of Black women’s wellness. Maybe one day society, and by proxy, the entertainment world, will deprioritize aesthetics and embrace vitality. I’ll bow my head, but should I hold my breath?
