My Staycation Adventure Hosted by Stay Alfred at Lilli Midtown

 

On Tuesday August 21, I had a chance to step away from my normal routine and take a well needed break and I enjoyed a overnight stay at Stay Alfred at Lilli Midtown in the heart of downtown. Stay Alfred believes in providing upscale travel apartments in the world's best downtown neighborhood. They provide guests with the reliability of a hotel stay and the space and comforts of a high-end apartment. My apartment was super cute -- two bedrooms with a full kitchen and fully furnished space with a balcony directly across from the historic Fox Theater. Once I got settle into the apartment my guest and I were off to the rooftop to mix and mingle before we headed to dinner at The Lawrence where we indulged in The Resurrection of Jean Grey delicious cocktail, Hickory smoked salmon chips, Pecan- Crusted Lamb Chops, and my favorite creme brulee for dessert.

Thanks to the good people over at Warner Bros I was invited to the Atlanta Advanced screening for Suicide Squad on Tuesday August 2nd at Atlantic Station. I thought it was amazing it exceeded my expectations and I'm sharing my top 5 reasons why you should check it out!

   5. My rating is 4 out of 5. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Will Smith didn't disappoint and I was happy to see Viola in another powerful role. Harley Quinn just might be my spirit animal don't you judge me either lol

Black Opal Pore Perfecting Liquid Foundation x Murad Clarifying Wipes Review

I first posted about Black Opal Pore Perfecting Liquid Foundations in March so I was overly excited to try it out because I've heard nothing but great things about the product.  So over the weekend I had some errands to run and I decided to give it a try. 

How I used it:

• I Applied a dot to each section of my face then blended with my foundation brush until it was evenly applied
• Applied a little press powder to set the foundation
• Brushed a little of Black Opal's Rose Gold Blush on my cheeks
• To add a little pop I finished the look with Black Opal's Color Splurge Lipstick in Vampy Red

Results: Flawless Coverage that's lightweight and lasted the Atlanta heat and did not move! I'm in love

To remove my makeup I used Murad's Clarifying Wipes: These pre-moistened wipes help keep skin clear by removing dirt, bacteria and pore clogging oils. These ultra-soft wipes regulate excess sebum production and can be used on-the-go to reduce shine and refresh oily skin. 

AMAZING! The wipes removed all my makeup and left my skin feeling soft and refreshed!

REVIEW: simplehuman 5X Telescoping Sensor Mirror

Today I received simplehuman 5X Telescoping Sensor Mirror I've always wanted a makeup mirror because I'm often worried about the lighting in my bathroom. It was a perfect addition to my vanity area and it was super easy to use, its cordless and charges via USB. What I LOVED most is that the mirror is motion-activated the LED light turns on when you approach. The 5X mirror pivots and can be raised to the perfect height and angle thanks to the telescoping base. After using the mirror my makeup was flawless and I did kind of startle myself when I sat down lol because I was magnified but it was cool because I could actually SEE better when applying my makeup and this mirror is going to make lash application effortless.

5 Reasons To Go See Annie

On Saturday December 13th, I had the pleasure of attending the advanced screening of Annie at Regal Atlantic Station. After I saw the movie I was in awe it was AMAZING!!! So I'm going to share my TOP 5 reasons why you should go out and see this movie!

1.) Quvenzhané Wallis and Jamie Foxx were electrifying ---rarely does a remake outshine its original counterpart and this one did it for me! I so want to see it again.

2) Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan --- WAS EVERYTHING AND MORE

3) I always loved Jamie Foxx as a singer -- now you get the best of both worlds -- acting and singing in one movie

4) Who doesn't Love Rose Byrne? She was my favorite in Bridesmaid and she was phenomenal in the film as well. 

 5) Annie is definitely a movie to put you in the holiday spirit -- The kids will enjoy it and the parents will too!
