On February 6th, I had the pleasure of attending Macy's Black History Month celebration this event was hosted by June Ambrose, Johnetta Boone & Courtney Hammonds. It was all about Soul-Era style -- the DJ played all the old school hits as the models took the runway to showcase the designs of the '60s and '70s generation. The panelist discussed how the different eras effect the way we look and dress today. We enjoyed a designer competition and even participated in a fabulous meet and greet. My biggest takeaway was from June Ambrose when she said "To be Iconic, you have to be consistent".
